It’s amazing how God can lay something so strongly on your heart, but it isn’t fulfilled until several years later.
We had this calling on our hearts to be parents, even in the midst of infertility. I knew God created me to be a mom one day. I prayed that if it wasn’t His will, that he would take that desire away—and He never did.
Waiting on God and His timing is so very hard. Jeff and I endured several years of infertility, and through that time God planted a love for adoption. I’ll never forget that phone call of us being chosen to parent twin boys! I love how adoption is such a beautiful picture of God’s love, faithfulness, and sacrifice for us.
The fact that our birth mother loved our boys so much, she chose what was best for them and removed all selfishness when she made the sacrificial decision to “choose” us as their parents. We too are all chosen and loved by God and every day that I look at my boys, I’m reminded of our God’s never-ending love for us!
We are so thankful for Life Choices and the ministry they have in our community!!
