Founding Principles 

1. Life Choices is an outreach ministry of Jesus Christ committed to presenting the gospel of our Lord both in word and in deed and to educate and empower clients to choose and cherish life. 

2. Life Choices requires that all laborers in the cause, including board members, directors, employees, staff, and volunteers, acknowledge and affirm the Statements (including the Statement of Faith and all Statements in this Exhibit I to these Amended and Restated By-Laws) and to espouse their belief in Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. 

3. Life Choices is committed to providing information about both prenatal development and abortion. 

4. Life Choices is committed to integrity, being trustworthy, providing promised information and services, and eschewing deception in its corporate advertising or individual conversations. 

5. Life Choices is committed to assisting women to carry their babies to term by providing emotional support and practical assistance. Through the provision of God’s people and its supporters, Life Choices may help women to face the future with hope and may plan constructively for themselves and their babies. 

6. Life Choices is committed to providing assistance and services free of charge. 

7. Life Choices believes that all client interactions are by divine appointment and, therefore, endeavors to treat any and all people with love and respect. 

8. Life Choices does not recommend, provide, or refer for abortions or abortifacients. 

9. Life Choices is committed to creating an awareness within the local, state, and national community of the needs of pregnant women and their families and that abortion compounds human need rather than resolving it. 

10. Life Choices believes that abstinence is the best and only appropriate moral expression of sexual responsibility for a single person. Married women seeking contraceptive information will be urged to seek counsel, along with their husbands, from their pastors and physicians. 

11. Life Choices offers support and counseling to expectant parents whether they choose adoption or parenting, without preference of one over the other. Its commitment to birth and adoptive families includes care during and after an adoption plan is made, as desired by birth families, adoptive families, and adoptees. 

12. Life Choices is committed to offering God’s forgiveness, grace, and mercy through Jesus Christ to anyone that has been involved with aborting a baby (ex: mother, father, relative, friend, medical personnel, etc.).

13. Life Choices does not advocate for the criminalization of women who seek or obtain abortions, and affirms that women should be met with compassion, support, and opportunities for healing and restoration.
